Ava is a multi-media story of a theoretical app that aids long-distance relationships. With my partners, Amie Deng and Erin Noh, we chose to create an app called ava. Ava is an AI that creates a lifestyle brand that provides easier solutions for existing long-distance relationships to stay connected.

MOODBOARD

The team wanted AVA to take on all the components of the resources technology has to offer to contact your loved ones along with creating a platform for the community.

VOICE OF AVA

FRIEND

This persona carries a supportive, but lighthearted tone. The user can select this voice to have a more casual experience with the app.

MOTHER

The ‘mother’ voice of ava gives a more caring and sympathetic tone. Using a maternal approach, this option will allow users to communicate with a version that is more emotional and comforting.

THERAPIST

If the user wishes to have more of a professional figure to guide them, they can select the ‘therapist’ voice, which gives objective opinions on specific matters pertaining to the relationship.
